Selecting The Zipper You Need

Zippers are offered in light, medium and heavy weight. Depending on the weight and type, they are available with brass, aluminum or plastic teeth. Zippers can be made separating, closed end or 2-way to meet all your zipper needs.

Heavy-duty separator in brass or aluminum

For extra heavy-duty use. Used in heavy coats jackets, motorcycle/bomber jackets, sleeping bags, etc. Can be made reversible and in lengths up to 100 inches. Colors 1-9, 32, 35, & 38.

Heavy-duty closed end in brass or aluminum

Used in tents, sleeping bags, heavy leather items, etc. This zipper can be made reversible and can be made to any length. Call 203-866-1540 for a price quote for lengths over 100 inches. Antique brass: heavy colors 1 & 35 to 36 inches.
Oxidized brass: (black metal) black only to 36 inches.

Medium-weight separating zipper in brass or aluminum

Our medium-weight zipper is the standard weight zipper found in most jackets, coats, jeans, sleeping bags, coats chaps, luggage and backpacks. In standard brass or aluminum teeth, this zipper can be made in lenghths up to 100 inches and can be made reversible. It is offered in colors 1 through 25, 29, 32, 35, 37, and 38.

Medium-weight closed end zipper in brass or aluminum

This zipper is available in the same colors as the medium separating metal zippers. They are commonly used in slipcovers, upholstery, jeans, sleeping bags, luggage, boots, pockets, tents and other camping equipment, backpacks, etc. This zipper can be made reversible and can be made to any length. Heavy-duty separator in plastic

The same uses as heavy-duty metal zippers. For extra strength and durability when plastic zipper teeth are preferred. Available in colors 1-8, 18, 32 & 35 up to 30 inches black or white to 100 inches. These zippers can be made reversible. Extra heavy in white only up to 100 inches available for boats. Add $2.00 per zipper.

Heavy-duty closed end in plastic

Same uses as metal but when plastic is preferred, in lengths to 45 inches, black and white to 100 inches. Same price as metal heavy duty. Can be made reversible.

Medium (sport) weight separating in plastic

The same uses as metal zippers when plastic is preferred. Available in all colors to 30 inches. (black and white can be made to 100 inches. For lengths 31 to 45 inches 2-way zippers must be used). These zippers can be made reversible.

Medium (sport) weight closed end in plastic

Same uses as metal but when plastic is preferred, available in all colors in lengths up to 30 inches. Black, navy, beige, natural and white to any length. Call 203-866-1540 for a price quote for lengths over 100 inches. Can be made reversible.

Light-weight separator in both metal enamel and plastic

Light-weight zippers are offered in all colors in both metal enamel and plastic teeth. Plastic is offered to 30 inches, black or white to 100 inches. Metal enamel to 100 inches. Suitable for dresses, zip out linings (aluminum teeth), baby sweaters, robes, and formals. Metal enamel can be made reversible.

Light-weight closed end in both metal enamel and plastic

Available all colors. Plastic to 30 inches (black or white plastic to 98 inches). Metal enamel to 100 inches and can be made reversible. Suitable for skirts, pants and slacks, dresses, light-weight cushions, robes, duvet covers and formals.

Invisible closed end zippers

In black or white only, up to 30 inches long. Please write “invisible” over “closed end” when selecting this type of zipper.

2-WAY SEPARATORS

Offered in medium and heavy weight zippers in both plastic and metal. Lengths to 45 inches in 2-way colors listed. Black only in aluminum and plastic in both medium and heavy weights in lengths to 65 inches. In lengths up to 100 inches in black heavy plastic only. Top slide only can be made reversible in 2-way zippers.

2-WAY COVERALL

Both top and bottom slide with one end closed. Offered in both heavy and medium weights in both plastic and metal.

2-WAY BACKPACK/LUGGAGE
